In this project, our goal is to revitalize the client’s love for cooking, particularly their passion for grits, by giving their outdated kitchen a modern makeover.

We face the challenge of working within the existing kitchen lay- out and footprint while enhancing storage capacity without compro- mising the clean and inviting aesthetic.

The resulting design uses inspiration from the site, integrating natural elements and a rich green-grey color that promotes that grounds and connects the design to nature. Vertical and horizontal linear elements draw the eye through the space creating visual heirarchy and interest.

Our scope of work includes programming, schematic design, design development, coordination with architects and structural engineers, project management, contractor collaboration, and specification and sourcing.
